- Fetches the source page using a polite user-agent.
- Parses the HTML and looks for an anchor pointing to the target host.
- Inspects rel attributes to confirm dofollow.
- Detects hidden links (display:none, visibility:hidden, zero-size).
- Logs everything to a transparent verification history.
If the link is good, you get +5 points instantly. If it's removed later, our re-check will flag it and deduct the points to keep the network honest.
